Engineer Associate Engineer Intern - India Design Center
Designed commercial aircraft cockpit display systems, digital logic per specifications, and developed C++ code stack and logic models using MATLAB across six different
simultaneous projects.
Key Accomplishment:
• Developed embedded system for “Pro Line Fusion” cockpit display system using C++, Object Oriented Programming OOPS, MATLAB, and Simulink, and Python scripting,
through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Mentored and trained four engineers and flight deck hardware team to produce cockpit hardware, displays, and flight control systems. Trained team of 15 engineers in
design and development.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING (SHM), January 2016 to Present
• Developed real time embedded system for non-contact displacement measurement using laser Doppler vibrometer and quadrotors.
• Measure lateral movement of Railway Bridge in real-time train crossings, and gather velocity readings from vibrometer for bridge displacements to develop controls of
passing train speed using LQR tracking.
WIRELESS SENSORS FOR DEFORMITY DETECTION, May 2016 to December 2016
• Designed, developed, and analyzed variances of wireless data acquisition system (DAQ) using microcontrollers ATXmega128A1, and Atmega328P for operating and receiving
signals from PZT wafers.
• Detected metal surface fault and deformation with guided waves created with piezoelectric (PZT) wafers.
APSARHA BALLOON SATELLITE PROJECT, January 2014 to December 2014
• Designed balloon satellite to measure the atmospheric parameters; and power, data acquisition, communication, and data processing modules.
ATHARVA SATELLITE GROUND STATION September 2008 to May 2010
• Worked on design and development of satellite IIT-B student satellite PRATHAM ground station created to measure ionosphere layer depth, and phase variance of two
different frequency signals received.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
• Designed and Developed MULTI-ROBOT SYSTEM to solve a maze and find the shortest of the available paths using ROS
• Designed a 5-BIT MICROCONTROLLER based on Von - Neumann architecture with a 5-bit data and a 6-bit address bus using VHDL and Xilinx CPLD
• Assisted the professor in development of the DIGITAL FARE METERS for local transport in Mumbai using VHDL and Xilinx CPLD
• Assisted in design and development of INTELLIGENT HIGHWAY STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM around Mumbai using AMR LPC2148, VHDL and Xilinx CPLD
