Description: -

Neopost Inc. uses software to maintain, run and support its internal systems that business analysis use to conduct day-to-day business. Occasionally ideas for improvements, issues and software defects are found that require development teams to create software releases meant to correct or improve the system. The Releases contain files and instructions on how to deploy and test the new software. The Release must travel to Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing entities before being approved for transmission and implementation in the Production environment. The purpose of the Neopost Inc. Code Manager system is to manage the transfer of Release files between network shares in a process that can be traced and audited. The system will move the files only after secure login, appropriate validation and notifications given and received. All release information will be stored in a Manifest Database. The process will terminate when the release reaches the Production share and notification has been sent.
