Major Coursework: Hydrodynamics, Engineering Hydrology, Water Transport Project Construction, River Dynamics, Coast Dynamics, Channel Engineering, Fluvial Bed Development and Regulation, Flood Control Engineering, Port Hydraulic Structure, Basic CAD, C++ Language. SKILLS

ArcGIS, MODFLOW, MIKE, Fortran 77, AutoCAD, C++ Language, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, MATLAB, Numerical Analysis, Groundwater Modeling, Aquifer Testing. REAEARCH EXPERIENCE

Dongting Lake (Human Province, China)

Used MATLAB wavelet analysis and meteorological data to analyze the precipitation characteristics of study area. Analyzed spatial variability characteristics of the activity of hydrogen ions (pH) and the activity of electrons (Eh) in the Lake. Studied contaminant type, migration and transformation mechanism in wetland.

Xuchang City (Henan Province, China)

Participated in the Henan Provincial Water Resources Planning Project of Xuchang City. Forecasted water demand based on historical data and population trends. Predicted water resource supply and demand balance and presented a water management program.

Brazos river (Texas)

Participated in a hydrogeological study of the Brazos river site, performed the analysis of slug test and pump test data using MATLAB, GIS and MODFLOW. Analyzed solutions of the advective-dispersive solute transport equation. Used MATLAB to calculate the result of equation and compared with measured data.

Contaminant transport in groundwater (Texas)

Found the analytical solution for one-dimensional advective-dispersive transport process including first-order reaction and linear sorption in two-layer porous media. Used MATLAB to calculate the result of equation and compared the result with the numerical solution result. Analyzed the breakthrough curve and transport properties influence to solute transport. Gave the suggestions for contaminated soil remediation. INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

DHI China, Shanghai, China Oct 2013 – Mar 2014

Participated in evaluation and planning projects, which required dealing with real water problems and modeling with water resource analysis software. The following tasks were successfully completed: Analyzed hydrological conditions of the city by using MIKE Basin and GIS. Authored a water allocation and management plan to alleviate water resources shortage problems. Simulated city flooding using MIKE 11 and provided a river training plan to improve flood control standards. Modeled the migration of groundwater contamination using MODFLOW and provided a scientific basis for environmental assessment and treatment of groundwater. Gave a comprehensive approach and provided the estimated project budget. PUBLICATIONS
