Development/Finance Intern - Hired as Development Administrative Assistant

Report to the VP of Development, assisting with daily fundraising operations to fund programs for 2,300 youth throughout the Peninsula

Analyze and report financial data acquired over three years in Excel to illustrate donor/gift accumulation across different zip codes, and conduct data research on 500+ potential donors, strategic partners, markets and industries to find new ways to increase revenue and cover potential loss impact for FY17

Work closely with Development team to manage data spreadsheets using V-lookup, pivot tables and other organizational functions for grants and marketing-related projects

Assist with donor stewardship and gift acknowledgement processes, including processing checks, entering gifts into The Raiser’s Edge database, generating daily gift reports, and producing acknowledgement letters and other correspondences

Work closely with Events Manager in planning and executing donor events by tracking RSVP’s for 500+ attendees, managing registration lists using Google Drive and Excel, and overseeing event check-in operations

Manage organization website using Squarespace, implementing daily edits and updates for average 2,500 visitors weekly

Provide support for ongoing Development projects including mass mailings, donation organization for over 100 gifts (from special events) event newsletters, and other special projects as needed

Work closely with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), implementing marketing strategies and providing up-to-date information to the community resulting in increased engagement, volunteers, connections, and donations
