To bring a tech form shore out would not happen till end of our rotation. If we don’t drill we will not be paid. My job is to perform hydraulic and process troubleshooting, each shift is responsible for a up to on all machines of 75%. Perform tool changes and all simple tool repairs, perform all weekly p.m.’s on machines document all machine problems.

Log downtime for any outside issues, service chiller and tower systems during slow times. Work rotation for weekends. Repair old equipment, hydraulic motors and pumps, repair heat control units in mold shop, replace probe heaters, repair material loaders, color mixers, maintain dust collection equipment, repair auxiliary closure and box making equipment. In all my years at polytop never missed our goal of 75% up time on production floor.

The equipment we installed was related to the wire and cable, profile, sheet, compounding, extrusion and injection molding of plastics.
