I am working very closely with the Data Center Operations team to work out the technology details regarding networking, security, failover and redundancy. Also, the Strategic Development team has built a number of POCs to help pick a number of existing applications to be marked for migration to the cloud.

Schonfeld Tools LLC (Senior Software Architect)
New York, NY Apr ’16 to Sep ‘16
Schonfeld Tools LLC was a family office managing ~$2.5bn. In January 2016, it received RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) certification and became a multi-strategy multi-manager hedge fund. Schonfeld Tools LLC is the technology arm of Schonfeld Strategic Advisors (SSA), which has steadily acquired investors since receiving the RIA certification and has experienced a steady growth in assets under management.
I joined a group of talented developers to lead the development of new generation applications to address the necessary enhancements, and in many cases re-architecture, of middle office applications. I suggested some new approaches and provided POC for those; top management was very receptive of these new ideas and I was charged with managing all middle-office applications and Strategic Developments since September 2016.
