Set up Haas Vertical Mill, set up G codes and tools for cuts on different types of Brake pads. Set up machine from set up sheets. Used Diamond End mills and carbide tools. Generally cutting friction for pad and different parts of the steel. Very tight tolerances. Generally, plus or minus .15 on the metric scale. Brake pads were made for Nascar and Porsche.

I also ran 4 lapping tables at once. Generated 400 parts per shift.

Cut with over 18 different types of tools to build side plates for the M-240 machine gun.

Performed the finishing cuts so that the guns could go to assembly to be put together. I . machined the plate’s to very tight tolerances. What the specification called for.

5/94 to 8/95, Hub Manufacturer and Machinist, Koyo Inc., Blythewood, SC

Ran two lines that made hubs for BMW and Mitsubishi.

Ran four Murata’s at one time while meeting specified measurement standards.

Changed the ID and OD when needed and maintained the rough turning from the vendors.

I maintained a very tight tolerance when making the Hubs. Also ran rough turning on Okuma Lathe to clean up parts from vendor, then put them on machines to go through Heat Treat and drill, and taps.

8/91 to 3/94, CNC Set-Up Machine Operator, Paul Argoe Screens, North, SC

Used a CNC machine to cut stiles in screen doors, which made a place for the glass to set in.

Learned how to set up a specification for measurements onto AutoCAD Design software and download them into the machine.
