EXPERIENCE

7-2018 – PRESENT

H2S TECHNICIAN, tOTAL SAFETY

1.Be familiar with the H2S Contingency Plan

2.Perform full H2S training or a Briefing as per 30 CFR 250.490

3.Communicate with the clerk daily, about the next day’s arriving personnel for current H2S Training.

4.Document training, separating full training and supplemental briefings. Document a walk thru drill was conducted. Conduct walk thru drill, with trainee donning SCBA, and plugging into briefing area.

5.File and maintain records neatly. Have them readily accessible for BSEE.

6.Perform a weekly H2S drill, the day of or day after crew change. Plug into briefing areas during drills to ensure no one will be starving for air during an actual emergency. This is very important after rigging up, before entering compliance depth.

7.Inspect safety equipment at least twice a day to ensure cleanliness and proper operation. Ensure cascade pressures does not drop below 2000psi. Ensure regulators don’t exceed 100psi on LP.

8.Maintain good housekeeping and represent Total Safety in a professional manner.

9.Bump test or calibrate sensors daily and record, readings, repairs, adjustments, date, times, mention weather guard’s status. Cal gas lot # and exp date.

10.Calibrate portable multi gas detectors within every 30 days, and record.

11.Document weekly SCBA inspections.

12.Have colorimetric tubes and portable detector readily available, in the event of an H2S alarm. Don SCBA, with a buddy before investigating any alarms. Only readings on a tube will be recorded as actual H2S levels.

13.Record all H2S alarms, even false alarms. Do an investigation, and notify Co. Rep.

14.Keep weekly inventory, list any equipment that was sent in or received.

15.Complete a JSA or JSA card each day for each task. JSA will be kept on location for 30 days, and available for BSEE for 2 years.

16.Schedule courses to keep all certifications current.

7/2017 – 7/2018

ER FIELD TECHNICIAN, SET ENVIRONMENTAL INC.

1.Ensuring the health and safety of crew, customer and site by adhering to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards.

2.On-call emergency response including the clean-up of hazards/non-hazards waste spills, disaster response and recovery and waste management.

3.The support of various environmental projects including but not limited to; Confine Space Entry and Rescue, Environmental Remediation

4.Calibrating 4-5 Gas monitor to ensure safe daily operations while hole watching.

5.Daily logs of current activities and equipment.
