Duties
The person will support the rest of the group with technical issues
Daily, weekly and monthly reports will be generated.
Implementation of project in the Steam and Gas turbine environment
Investigate plant or equipment inefficiencies and present technical solutions to eliminate such inefficiencies
Understand the Synfuels MOC procedure
Develop business cases to support installation of technical solutions
Daily plant monitoring
PROCSS ARTISAN-OUTSIDE-PLANT
Full plant inspection and report deviations to Process Artisan in the panels.
Follow-up of defects.
Chang-over atomizing station steam pressure controller.
Steam and water drum gauge glasses blow through.
Assist PC's with problems on the plant where required.
Assist PC's with all required protection tests where required.
Assist with commissioning and /or De-commissioning of equipment.
Cleaning of CW booster pump filters.
Blow through sluice water pump discharge line strainer drains.
Plant defects create notifications.
PROCESS ARTISAN -BOILER PANEL
Carry out panel inspection for deviations, and solve it.
Panel and alarm globes to be in working order.
Carry out DCS and PLC inspection for deviations, and solve it.
Write log on computer and report problems to Group Leader.
Change-over of standby auxiliaries.
All equipment not available and reason.
Change-over of feed water control valves.
Test boiler start-up vent regulating valve with IMD and EMD.
Arranged soot blowing where required.
Commissioning and de-commissioning of all equipment responsible.
Counter sign the Pc-1 plant and reading sheets.
