ICE Data Services / Interactive Data Corp – New York City December 2011 – Current Senior Vice President, Global Head of Product Management Responsible for the product management function across Real Time Feeds and Desktop businesses within the Trading Solutions business unit (~$275m annual revenue).

- Rebuilt the Product Management teams within both the Feeds and Desktop businesses including the creation of formal product and technology processes, standardized roadmaps, project tracking, building comprehensive business cases, and the creation of an offshore content quality team to cover: pre-sales content coverage checks, daily content functions, proactive quality checks, and remediation of content issues.

- Defined and executed a strategic 3-year investment plan for the feeds business starting in 2013 aimed at expanding our services to support top tier clients. By the end of the 3-year plan, achieved significant strategic product enhancements and quality improvements (74% drop in client content issues per annum, 93% reduction in “Severity 1” Operational incidents per annum), higher client satisfaction, reduced erosion, return to positive revenue growth, and successfully onboarded our first “Tier 1” client while also achieving a 5%+ reduction in annual “run the firm” costs for 2015 and 2016. Since the acquisition by ICE, the Feed product has been defined as the strategic internal source of market data for all ICE businesses.

- Simplified the Desktop retail product line, reduced “run the firm” costs each year, expanded the footprint of our professional Commodities & Energy desktop product line, and drove the strategy and product enhancements required to migrate all C&E desktop clients to a next generation “thin client” product. The C&E desktop product is now the strategic market data component of the ICE desktop product line. New York Stock Exchange Technologies – New York City April 2010 – November 2011 Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Market Data Solutions business Recruited to create the Market Data Solutions business (starting from a small set of independent early stage products and services); and to drive the evolution of the company from a primarily software licensing business model to a Services and Solutions business model.

- Defined the Market Data Solutions platform and product strategy

- Doubled annual revenue of Solutions products for FY 2011.

CTO, Enterprise Strategic Business Unit (2008-2010) Defined cross business unit technology strategy, drove key technology programs, assessed group wide technology capabilities and drove actions to address weaknesses, and provided senior technology leadership to all four business verticals within the Enterprise business unit. Also responsible for all technology and service aspects of the Thomson Reuters Hosting Solutions business.

- Created and drove the ‘Elektron’ next generation real time market data infrastructure strategy for the entire Markets Division which has, over time, replaced the bulk of their legacy infrastructure.

- Successfully led a cross-functional team to implement the ‘Elektron’ infrastructure and initial data feed products starting from initial business requirements, high level architecture and design to first operational deployment and launch in April 2010. Under my leadership, an architecture was created which achieved 90%+ of the desired business benefit at 20% of the cost, time to implement, and complexity of previously unsuccessfully attempted solutions.

- Successfully negotiated all technology and many business aspects of various partnership deals (for example, the Savvis partnership which enabled substantially accelerated growth of the Thomson Reuters Hosting Solutions business).

Global Head of Product Management, Enterprise Information (2004-2008) Responsible for the Enterprise Information (EI) product management and software development functions covering all EI divisional products. These products accounted for ~US$600 million in annual revenues in 2007 with a consistent double digit percentage revenue growth year on year during my tenure.

- Created the EI product management function and built a team from the ground up. Delivered numerous products including: Datascope Select, Reuters Data Feed Direct, NewsScope History, NewsScope Real Time, News Sentiment Engine and Tick History products.

- Fundamentally changed the ultra low latency direct exchange feed industry by introducing a managed service business model. Won the Inside Market Data awards for 2005 Best Product Development of the Year and 2006, 2007, and 2008 Best Low Latency Product. Head of Americas Development (1990-2004)

Held a variety of roles within the Reuters global technology organization, culminating in Head of Americas Development with responsibility for approximately 850 technical staff and a $170 million budget across groups based in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Palo Alto, Toronto and Latin America.

- Reduced global development costs while increasing overall Development resource levels and long term Development capabilities. Consistently improved the efficiency of each team while delivering highly creative, ground breaking solutions on time, to spec, and within budget.

- Led the development of what became the Reuters worldwide standard real time market data desktop product (the ‘Reuters Terminal’). This product revolutionized the Reuters desktop business with cutting edge functionality, usability and quality.

International Data Feeds Product Manager (1987-1990) Global responsibility for marketing and product management of all real time data feed products. Developed product strategies, product definition, pricing and positioning, managed data feed marketing managers and coordinated data feed development and operations groups located in all three regions.

- Launched the first commercially available logical (non-page based) real time market data feed which set the stage for Reuters entire family of data feed products to the present day.

- Subsequently launched a family of real time market data feed products which evolved into the predominant and gold standard data feed products in the industry. Programmer Analyst and Project Leader (1983-1987)

Managed numerous real time software projects including the SDS2 desktop system which achieved profitability faster than any previous Reuters product. Led the innovation of major user interface improvements. Education
