Managed procurement of materials for jig by evaluating suppliers' quality, price, and accessibility. Determined the feasibility of the chosen design by doing FEA, dimensional analysis, and bill of materials. Manufactured working prototype without exceeding Bauer's specified budget. Main project: Implemented Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) program on production line no.11 in Unilever's Soap factory to reduce the soap size changeover time by 30.8%. Presented results in a report to the GM. Shadowed and assisted the factory production manager with work activities such as drawing up weekly production schedule, overseeing the production process and making sure the products are produced on time and are of good quality, and supervising and motivating a team of workers.
