Plant Manager at N.O.C. Industries for 5-years (140 employees). We were very successful and built a great team. 100% accuracy for quality and on-time delivery.

Inventory Control / Warehouse / Shipping Manager at Leggett and Platt. Worked directly for the General Manager and led our team to 100% efficiency for customer on-time / accuracy deliveries. Responsible to ensure raw stock in house for daily production needs. Inventory balances dropped to under 30 turns per month. (A winning team crew of 18 to work with!)

SALES AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

While in tenure at N.O.C. Industries, I started my position as a marketing intern, sales for the company were at just over $300,000, at the end of my employment as the Plant Manager 6-years later and the sole contact for customer sales / business development, our sales at my final year were at $4.3 million per year. Clairon Metals Corporation, I was instrumental in helping our company obtain Supplier of the Year Award from Velux Corporation and winning an 8-million dollar contract as the estimator / sales contact. I was also awarded (3) Gold Star awards for my successful interactions with our customer base. Vetted suppliers for coatings and sub-assemblies for outsourced secondary operations.

At my position at Decostar, Magna Corporation, I was the Sales Rep and Estimator for the Golf Car / recreational vehicle market with a 100% win rate as Estimator / Customer Sales contact with my customers at Textron Golf Car and Recreational Vehicles (TSV). I assisted with program launches for (3) model programs per year. Decostar was selected as Textron’s Supplier of the Year.

WORK HISTORY:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / SALES ESTIMATOR TASUS CORPORATION 2/01/2016-CURRENT

Work closely with sales-tooling-engineering to provide an answer to RFQ, (request for quote), to provide the best possible pricing on piece price and tooling / fixturing for our Tier I customer base after holding feasibility meetings.

Work with sales during customer negotiations to win the programs.

Maintain KOI tracking logs of quoted programs. This included amount, turn days and win or lost programs. I achieved 100% on time quoting sales proposals with short turn times, (no late quotes).

Once the program is awarded and in SOP, I then do a cost analysis comparison for cost versus pricing on materials and labor, working with sales-we would go back to the customer to gain the loss with re-quote options.

Initiated process of revenue recovery for customer expendable packaging. Recovery of “Found Revenue” annual value average of: $60,000/ per year. I am also a mentor for the “job shadowing” program for the University of Alabama.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR-IN HOUSE SALES REP / COST ESTIMATOR & IMDS COORDINATOR DECOSTAR INDUSTRIES, (MAGNA) 1/2010 – 10/2015

I was responsible for Tier I automotive and non-automotive (program launch) of recreational vehicle customer sales base.

IMDS Coordinator for all awarded program entry for this Automotive Tier I supplier in molded TPO components, (front/rear fascia-side panels and other TPO molded / painted outer trim components).

Assist in program launch platform startup for SOP / to include building parts for shipments.

Working with the Director of Business Development, along with my customer to prepare quote submissions direct to the OEM & Non-OEM purchasing manager as well as my sales reps.

Monitor the financial health of invoiced accounts. Travel bi-monthly to the customers for new business opportunities, (B2B).

Develop and build complex build product structures and material compliances for submission into the IMDS, (International Material Data System), for all customers and program platforms for a 250 million dollar per year sales company.

Working with my non-automotive customer base, I was able to grow this market base from 4.5 million per year in sales to just under 20 million per year, (documented), and became Textron Supplier of the Year.

COST ESTIMATOR/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/SALES REP CLAIRON METALS STAMPING CORP JULY/2002-SEPT/2009

Responsible for viewing print data and processes with senior management to prepare quote for the customer. This is a Tier I OEM and Recreational vehicle supplier stamping facility.

Prepared contracts and sales proposal presentations for customers to development metal stamping piece price and tooling.

Was responsible for sales contact for my customer base, and also for obtaining competitive pricing from steel vendors and secondary operations: e-coat, paints, powder coating, zinc coatings, welding and secondary assemblies. Vetting the suppliers and awarding the business to them.

Assist in program launches.

INVENTORY CONTROL-SHIPPING-WAREHOUSE MANAGER LEGGETT & PLATT CORP AUG 2000-SEPT 2002

I was responsible for Inventory Control, inventory adjustments and raw materials availability for production on a daily basis.

Also making sure that all customer deliveries were made on time managing logistics and trucking needs.

I led our team of 18 in the shipping / warehouse department to 100% shipping and receiving accuracy.

PLANT MANAGER / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / COST ESTIMATOR N.O.C. INDUSTRIES FEB 1994-JULY 2000

I was the plant manager, responsible for day to day operations, plant maintenance and customer satisfaction- employee retention and employee morale.

I was responsible for steel purchasing, (for stamping dept mold outsourcing and outsourcing secondary operations.

Responsible for leading hands on engineering setup for new programs for paint line, stamping, and sub-assemblies for Tier I OEM markets both automotive and heavy equipment.

Routinely visited customers for new business opportunities and quoted piece price and tooling for new programs.

Developed QS-9000 system in 9-months, (6 months ahead of schedule), to remain compliant with our Tier I customer base.
