{I assisted in GI procedures, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP’s. My role was to assess the patient before the procedures, and determining safety of procedures. I also performed Conscious sedation and monitoring during procedures and recovery after procedures. These roles were rotated each day and included in the rotation was lead nurse which included assignments of nurses, ensuring procedures run smoothly, managing patients and which rooms will be used for which procedures. Assisted in colonoscopies, EGDs, Flexible Sigmoidoscopies, Banding, Sclerotherapy, Electrical Coagulation Therapy, PEG placement, and ERCPs.
