Working as Executive – Quality Assurance in Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd an ISO 9001-2008 Pre Engineered Steel Buildings manufacturing company belongs to Pennar Group.

Nature of responsibilities:

Inspection of Incoming Raw material and Accessories as per the International standards (ASTM, AS) /Indian standards (IS).

Shop floor fabrication inspection as per Fabrication drawings.

Shop floor Weld inspection /NDT inspection as per AWS D 1.1 structural steel code.

Carry out Pre-Dispatch inspection.

Knowledge in usage, programming of following Testing Equipments.

Rockwell Hardness testing Machine-For HS BOLTS.

DFT (ELCOMETER)/Ford Cup/Cross hatch cutter, Profile gauge-for Paint thickness inspection.

Dye penetrant Test for Butt /Fillet Welds as per AWS D1.1

Co-ordinate with TPI for inspections.

Preparation of Quality Plans for the customers.

Attending & Execution of Customer complaints if any.

Responsible for ISO documentation for calibration of instruments.

Inspection carried out at the stage of Built up and Welding.

Imparting the Quality Systems training to the vendors along with the documentation.
