Subhabrata is currently playing the SAP AMS Technical Solution Manager role since April 2014. As a SAP TSM He is responsible to the technical solution, base lining the requirement and solution, pain point identification, recommendation, effort estimation, preparing staffing, prepare the initial pricing, transition plan, bid metrics preparation, defining the scope boundary, non-labor cost estimation etc.

SCOPE: The overall objectives of this role is to work closely with the sales team to understand the requirment of the support needed by the client and giving a proper shape for the solutioning. This included study the RFP or interraction with the end clients, analsize the historical data, tickets, changes, enhancements. Preparing the baseline documents and discuss with the delivery team and SME to build the solution. Identify the issues and risks, build the cost case, optimize the solution alongwith resourcing team, delivery team and opportunity owner / sales team. Preparing the SLA or SLO. Preparing the high level draft pricing if required and coordinate with all the stakeholders for the approval before the submission by the sales team. This role is a global role for across countries and industries.

The other key responsibilities are taking part in due diligence, articulate the entire solution in the baseline document which is the key document for all future references. Once the contract is signed this document plays a vital role to interlock with the transition team and delivery team

Handled the RFS or the opportunities mostly from USA or European countries but worked on other geographies as well

Worked mainly on small or medium opportunities up to 20 million USD

Role: Project Manager - Offshore

SCOPE: Worked as a Project Delivery Manager and Project Manager for multiple projects during this period. This is including travelling onsite to meet the customer for new business and transition, working with the sales team for new opportunities with the same client. The key activities performed in this role are as follows:

Provide full project management support for the team up to 40 people.

Lead, review and ensure a quality delivery for all objects the team is expected to deliver

Manage the steep ramp up plan of resources at a very short notice

Ensure billing and reconciliation at proper time

Attending all internal and external audits and ensure the compliance

Manage the utilization

Preparing the project report

Analyse the tickets and SLA reports.

Take active part roll out new tools for automation, utilization tracking, SLA tracking etc

ROLE: SAP Basis Consultant

SCOPE: Subhabrata played the SAP Basis Consultant role for 5 years before he moved to Project Management role in IBM. As a SAP basis consultant he played a key hands on role for several new installation and domestic SAP AMS projects. This was including hardware sizing, working closely with hardware and network engineers for the server OS installation, network configuration and readiness.

ROLE: Lotus Notes and Network Administrator

SCOPE: Subhabrata was the all India Lotus Notes System Administrator for PwC India setup. He was the key person for designing and implementing Lotus Notes Email system in PwC India. Apart from this role in PwC, before LN administrator, he played the Network Administrator and Server infrastructure Administrator as well. From LN admin role, he moved to SAP Basis consultant role internally within PwC.

Responsibilities:

Managing PwC India’s WAN setup from the hub location which was at Kolkata. He played the SPOC role for PwC’s India network infrastructure as well. It was a key role as during this time PwC started offshore delivery model based on the International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) and from multiple location through VSAT

Coordinate with different vendors and contractors responsible for the maintenance of the servers, desktops, network equipment.

Analyzes business requirements, prepare sizing and solution, procurement plan and present it to the management.

Duration: April 1994 – March 1997

ROLE: Hardware Support Engineer

SCOPE: Prior to PwC, from 1994 to 1997, Subhabrata worked as Hardware Engineer for desktop support, Network consultant where he was responsible for multiple large accounts network infrastructure, Novell LAN installation and support.

1992 to 1994 – International Data Management Limited – Work as a Customer Support Engineer (Hardware). He was responsible for providing desktop and server support, including Novell LAN installation and support for multiple locations in eastern India

1990 to 1992 – PCS Data General India Limited - Worked as a Customer Support Engineer (Hardware and Networking)

Subhabrata has done Diploma in Electrical Engineering from State Council of Engineering & Technical Education, Government of West Bengal in 1989
