Summary of Experience and Qualifications

Prasad holds an Engineering degree, an MBA and a certificate in the SAP PP and APO modules. In nineteen years of professional experience, he spent twelve years in SAP functional consulting and project management, participating in six E2E implementations in PP and four E2E implementations in QM. Prasad worked on a pilot implementation of APO-DP, after which he acted as the project manager of an APO-DP module roll out at six locations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. In addition to acting as project manager, Prasad has also been a testing manager for two international projects in Malaysia and the US. Project includes implementing SAP core modules of FICO/PP/QM/MM/SD/WM/solution manager using a global template model

Role: Building a roadmap for solution manager implementation in terms of effort estimation, resources, current situation, problems, results and benefits and presenting the roadmap to leadership team. Identifying the value for each of the solution manager components like solution documentation, custom code management, test management, application incident management, change control management in terms of the benefits and the complexity of the implementation. Study in details the enterprise business process framework (EBPF) based on American production and quality control (APQC) process framework and synchronize EBPF with solution manager documentation. Conducted requirements gathering workshops for document approvals and configured digital signatures in solution manager. Successfully managed ambiguity as there are no set boundaries for this project and there is a need to self-motivate and push for the approval of the project from senior leadership team and execute the project successfully once approved.

Project includes implementing SAP core modules of FICO/PP/QM/MM/SD/PM/WM/PLM for seven manufacturing plants and twenty sales plants across USA, EMEA and APAC

Role: Created industry print process flows for PP/QM and conducted workshops to discuss the SAP life sciences IP5 model. Created a requirement traceability matrix from IP5 process flows to capture all the business requirements and make sure that they were tested. Created business process design documents and wrote functional specifications for complex interfaces between SAP and web services to generate certificate of conformance to be delivered to customers covering SAP QM, PP, SD modules. Helped define Batch and serial number enhancements to capture manufacturing origin for taxation purposes and VC characteristics for batch class characteristics covering SAP QM, PP, SD modules. Configured PP/QM modules to support functional unit and integration testing. Trained the client’s business process experts in SAP software to execute the test scripts. Role: Participated in the design discussions about the business processes of demand management of different strategic business groups. Mapped the demand forecasting business processes from three strategic business groups: air transport regional, business and general aviation, and defense and space into SCM APO-DP. Created planning object structures, planning areas, characteristics, key figures. Defined planning books / data views as per the requirements of the business units. Gained expertise in core interface (CIF), integration models, transfer of master data like materials, plants to APO, and in BI-level master data extraction.
