Project Introduction - The Govt. of India has proposed to continue R-APDRP during the XI Plan with revised terms and conditions as a Central Sector Scheme. The focus of the programme shall be on actual, demonstrable performance in terms of sustained loss reduction. Establishment of reliable and automated systems for sustained collection of accurate base line data, and the adoption of Information Technology in the areas of energy accounting will be essential before taking up the regular distribution strengthening projects.
Purpose of Project - Implement a separate domain and intranet of UPPCL and Design a GIS network of UPPCL sub-stations also included Feeder, DTR and Poles.
Designation - GIS Engineer
Duration - 31 August, 2013 to 31 January 2014.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implementation of whole electrical network of power substations in Asset mapping.
Mapping of all the billing consumers on the basis of this electrical network in Consumer indexing.
Co-ordinate with different vendor for Quality checking of AM & CI data given by vendor and Analysis all electrical aspects.
Team co-ordination for different task of GIS field activity such as Quality checking of AM & CI .
Co-ordination with different vendors companies which are working for GIS implementation such as AM, CI and Pole Painting etc. of pilot and Non-pilot Towns.
Creation of maps of Substations and feeders using Arc-GIS.
Working on delivery of AT& C report of PVVNL towns under RAPDRP.

The focus of the AT & C Losses and New performance in terms of sustained loss reduction. Establishment of reliable and automated systems for sustained collection of accurate base line data, and database of Information Technology in the areas of energy accounting will be essential before taking up the regular distribution strengthening projects.

QA/QC data for PGDB on ArcGIS Application.

Sequence check the whole Network using tools in ArcGIS.
Technical Support for Backend Team on Client Side.
