Elkay Metal Manufacturing Intern, 2017 (1 Summer)

-40+ hours per week

-Involved in all steps of the production of metal parts and products. This includes hand drawing, computer drafting, reading drawings, designing, machining, grinding, finishing work, painting, packaging, and going on deliveries and other duties.

-Experience in and have been around CNC routing, CNC milling, CNC lathing, CNC water jetting, non-CNC machining, CNC programming, sheet metal cutting, and sheet metal bending.

-Adept and experience in AutoCADD and familiar with Solid Works and Sketchup.

•Suder Pools Inc, 2013-2015 (3 summers)

- 40+ hours per week

- Construction of in-ground swimming pools

- Renovating and fixing in-ground swimming pools

- Servicing in-ground swimming pools such as cleaning, replacing parts, answering questions, opening and closing pools, and maintaining optimal chemical balances

•Center Point Pond, 2016 (1 summer)

- 40-50 hours per week

- Construction of ponds and water features

- Renovation and fixing previously installed ponds

- Servicing ponds such as cleanings, replacing pumps and tubing, fixing leaks, answering questions that the homeowner may have

- Working in the retails sales of the pond business selling and having knowledge on pumps, fish and other animals, chemicals, plants, and knowing how things work and do not work and how to fix a problem

- Teaching kids age 5-15, how to fish and showing them how to clean out a fish the proper way

Skills From These Jobs Include But Are Not Limited To:

Working with several types of tools and hand tools, knowing how to work as a team but also knowing when it is appropriate to take charge, problem solving, knowing how to lead a group in the right way, and how to be able to contribute to a group if I am not in charge.
