17 active large Schueler and Danly presses for it Jeep line of vehicles, Town and Country minivans, Ram trucks, Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 200 vehicles.
Company was actively reducing headcount and I was called in and terminated for not picking up processes fast enough which was a surprise.

Aluminum alloy investment casting and mold setup and finishing operations.
Laid off with entire 2nd shift due to loss of contracts.
Receiving Supervisor Aug 2006 – Sept 2009

Managed 4 hourly employees that processed 35 to 200 packages per day delivered by FEDEX, UPS, and individual. Suppliers for Non-Production and Maintenance spare parts and equipment.
Implemented Romulus Engine Assembly Local 163 (shop rules) and UAW National contract agreements for safety, first time quality standards for job performance, Implemented overtime management, payroll, attendance and discipline.
Processed all invoiced material (package slips) and verified hourly employee package checks (for the 35 to 200 packages).

Managed 24 hourly fork truck drivers that served
12 Machining (V-6 and V-8 blocks, heads, cranks and piston rods, rough, in-process, finished and scrap material and storage) lines, ensuring storage requirements were maintained for finished and in-process banks, realigned drivers and in-process material to keep machining line running during tool change out or unscheduled machine downtime.
26 Docks (Rough Castings, Finished Engine shipping, received v-6 and v-8 Purchased Parts), managed just in time bulk and small part floor storage banks for plant engine assembly lines and ensured the proper delivery and quantity of finished engines for vehicle assembly plants
3 Engine Assemble lines using synchronous electronic pull for bulk storage parts and manual small part pull card (kaizen) system.
V-8 Engine Assembly Supervisor April 2002 – June 2004
Managed 28 hourly employees out of 120 assembly line shift of employees
Maintained 2.5 units per minute cycle time yielding 150 units per hour and built 4400 engines per day for two shift operation.
Set new production record for the most pistons placed into engines during a standard 9 hour shift (amongst days or afternoons).
