Key Responsibilities
Support Adult learning programme caseloads to achieve their Functional Skills to Level 1 & 2 standard as a ‘pathway’ to employability and Apprenticeship Awards (WBL).
Complete IA/Diagnostic assessments using an e- learning platform to identify learning gaps and complete ILPs.
Attend regular standardisation meetings provide feedback on learners, procedures and share best practices.
Provide constructive verbal and written feedback for delivery staff to support continuous improvement and personal development.
Complete contract and Awarding Body documentation and responsible for ensuring, that all paperwork is of a high quality and submitted within set timescales.
Learner induction, assessment/diagnostics/ILPs/SOW/Lesson planning, trackers, reviews, on-line tests etc.
Provide IAG advise through working with NCS (National Careers Service) in directing ‘learners’ onto appropriate courses.
Promoting and sharing good practice throughout the delivery of qualifications.
Provide IV/IQA support as an Associate Assessor for Training providers for Functional Skills.
Online distance learning Tutor for AET/CET awards using e-learning platform.
Achievements
Students successfully achieving both entry and level exams through appropriate awarding bodies. Eg/ City and Guilds/Edexcel.
Consistent achieving pass rates.
Lead timely standardisation workshop/training sessions for Functional Skills with Assessors.
Undertake observations of delivery for staff on Learner Journey processes. Involving IVing portfolio FS/SLC assessments.
CPD – achieved IQA Level 4 award, subject specialism in both Adult Literacy Level 4/Adult Numeracy L5
Successfully made return to the teaching profession.
