Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

Coordinates personnel actions, advises management regarding appropriate procedures and performs follow-up on personnel matters. Manages/coordinates/maintains logs on merit increases, salaries, Total Army Performance Evaluation System (TAPES) send shells 30/60/90 days out and track each evaluation from start to finish, Army Ideas for Excellence Program (AIEP) and personnel attendance. Maintains current, continuous records of both hours and dollar amounts used and remaining for support maintenance. Establishes new expenditure orders and internal job orders and closes out those that have been completed. Reconciles on-going records with computer printouts of actual costs and establishes official ledgers for each account.

Maintains daily man-hour records by labor distribution code. Compiles this data to be used in preparing the monthly shop report. Ensures that current data codes and identifiers are used. Maintains all administrative records; assists the property book officer in updating property book records for the shop; and prepares and submits reports to higher headquarters as required. Using automated data processing equipment (ULLS_A), inputs/extracts TAMMS maintenance data on supported reserve unit owned equipment.

Orders, receives and reviews changes in regulations and directives pertaining to the

administrative portion of ASF operations and completes a summary of information contained in publications for use by unit and shop personnel. Research and apply regulations and guidelines to all administrative functions for the ASF.

Operates word processing equipment using a full variety and complexity of software functions to type a variety of correspondence, orders, forms and other material into final form. Input for the creation of documents includes handwritten drafts, typed copy and previously stored material. Ensures proper formats, spelling, punctuation and syllabification.
