The following duties applied for all jobs:
Maintained and repaired all plumbing fixtures per prints and specifications including tools and equipment.
Applied expert knowledge of various types of materials; plans; blue prints; drawings and building code layouts and set up work in all areas of the plumbing trade.
Planned and laid out the routing, placement, slope and fall of piping systems; located and taped main lines; located faults in systems; diagnosed trouble and made major repairs like repair main sewer line.
Regulated and monitored the running of building equipment and systems for heating, cooling and emergency power supply.
Repaired, installed and modified all steam, air, gas and sewage lines. Installed new construction plumbing, including showers; sinks; toilets; urinals; faucets; diverters; waste and water lines. Reset toilets, hung urinals
Installed drinking fountains; soldered copper pipes, lead and wipe joints. Removed and installed sump pumps, sweat pipes and valves in sub basements and elevator pits. Performed electrical maintenance on motors and pumps throughout facilities.
Performed work in air cooling towers. Installed and maintained pumps and repaired equipment; changed filters, replaced belts, installed gaskets on circulating pumps. Replaced pulleys on A/C unit motors.
Performed the full range of both carpentry and plumbing work found in a BMD field office, including, planning, layout and completion of projects to install, modify and repair plumbing systems and wood structures and items to accomplish building maintenance work as required by building codes.
Installed cafeteria equipment including faucets, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. Experience with a variety of pipes such as brass; copper; galvanized; ABS and PVC plastic.
Skilled as a locksmith. Maintained key control, master lock system, floor master; repaired and replaced mortise locks and combination locks; repaired automatic key card garage gates, setting limit switches and realigning chains; made preventive maintenance and service calls.
Installed and repaired systems such as water, sewer, air and gas lines. Repaired leaking pipes, installed pneumatic valves, replaced gate valves from 3/8" to 4". Cleared sewage stoppages using various snakes from 25' to 200' cables. Self-Employed Plumber during 2002-2003
