Vice President Program Operations – Medicaid Programs (2016-Present) -- Implements strategic plan initiatives within parameters of the strategic plan ensuring compliance with all program requirements. Oversees risk management strategies to mitigate risk in program operations that could result in financial or public relations losses. Oversees preparation of program reports for the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Trustees, and government agencies. Serves as the primary point of contact for program audits and government regulatory staff/agencies (Ohio Department of Aging, Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, Ohio Department of Medicaid, Health Plans etc.). Disaster and Military Services Manager– Coordinate the efforts of physicians, nurses, and volunteers providing case management and mental health services to Armed Forces personnel and their families. Provide assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, financial assistance, and referral and advocacy based on a comprehensive, individualized service plan to members of the Armed Forces. Provide information, liaison, advocacy and referral services to ensure clients (both military and disaster) receive appropriate benefits, resources and services provided by other agencies. Supervise military casework staff through daily consultation, and weekly individual and group meetings to ensure effective service provision on both an individual and a team level. Intervene or direct staff interventions to resolve difficult or crisis situations while modeling intervention techniques for subordinate staff. Facilitate groups to address individual, family and community issues, such as deployment, unemployment and housing displacement, to support individual, family and community normalization. Review case records and related reports (United Way) to ensure the appropriate recording of data which demonstrates effective provision and utilization of internal and external services and resources.
