To ensure the production of sound weld following the acceptable welding processes [SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.SAW.]

To ensure that personnel [welders] work safe in accordance with the laid down safety rules, regulation and policies.

Ensuring that all welding activities comply with the acceptable standard, code and specification [WPS].

To ensure that welding activities are completed as at when due to meet target.

To ensure that the right material, consumables, tools and equipment are used for the right job.

preparation of hand over note for night shift, disclosing the area / location and job to be carried out and also ensuring that the correct job code are used for the right job .
