Over forty years of experience in Aircraft and Aerospace developing manufacturing methods, preparing the sequence of operations with drawings and detailed instructions to fabricate and assemble composite and sheet metal components in an ISO 9001/AS9100 environment. November 2016 to Present LOCKHEED MARTIN SPACE SYSTEMS – MICHOUD/NASA, NEW ORLEANS, LA Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Responsible for all incoming tooling from outside vendor fabrication. Quality check and verify the tool matches the design requirements prior to releasing for production build. Work with in-house fabrication to build or rework tools, modify existing tools for safety issues, compliance conformances, process changes and improvements. Maintain ordering and status of materials for in-house work. Provide status for all tools in work each day for project tracking. Duties also include review of LM tool designs for the Michoud and Denver facilities. January 2013 to November 2016 LOCKHEED MARTIN MST – MOORESTOWN, NEW JERSEY Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Assigned to facility maintenance in charge of ordering parts and supplies for equipment repair. Tasked with procurement or design and procurement of obsolete, hard to find or otherwise consumable hardware used in production and tooling efforts. Tasked with facility layout POC, covering all preliminary layouts and facility changes impacted by new and aging programs for the entire Moorestown facility. Current team leader in charge of touch labor reduction on all Aegis water cooler programs. Other projects include establishing facility stockroom, implementing min/max inventory in the D7i work order system.
