Quint Group (October 2015 – Current)

Director, CIO Advisory Services

Building the CIO Advisory Services practice area. Manage project delivery for maturity assessments and program roadmaps (ITIL/ITSM, Lean IT, Dev/Ops). Providing program management for two large Lean IT deployments transforming the build/project management and run value streams. In addition, deployed the (SFIA) skills framework to align resources with IT service demand. Conducted CIO Leadership workshops and foundation training for ITIL/ITSM, Prince2 and Lean IT.

Philadelphia Department of Human Services (November 2012 – September 2015)

Chief Information Officer

Assessed, aligned and managed all IT Assets, Resources and Projects for the $600M Agency. The IT Department has over 150 staff members supporting the IT infrastructure, end-user support, applications development and support/operations and Data Warehousing/Reporting needs of over 5,000 employees and providers of the Agency.

Consolidated, standardized and modernized the infrastructure footprint reducing yearly maintenance and support costs by over 30%. Migrated all email and Office applications to a yearly cloud based model saving over $3M in Capital expenditures.

Transformed (utilizing Lean IT and ITIL principles) the end-user support unit improving the response service levels from days to 4 hours or less for 90% of all incidents and requests. Implemented a new support application platform (ITSM tools) to support the organizational and process changes required to achieve the goals of the initiative.

After completion of a Current State Data Warehousing and Business Reporting assessment, developed the project and implementation plan to build a new information warehouse and reporting environment to meet the Executive and Division Management level information and reporting needs.

Implemented a quarterly planning and alignment process to match the application needs and demands of each Division within the Agency with IT plans and projects. The Agency application roadmap alignment has improved significantly along with overall support and priority of the IT Capital and maintenance budget. Utilized the COBIT 5 framework.

Shifted the emphasis from internally developed applications (.net/Agile/SCRUM) to a commercially available application footprint (Case Management/Service and Financial Management) within a hosted model. Managed the full life cycle through inception, design, integration and test, pilot, and deployment). The shift reduced the application development and support budgets by over 40% and delivered improved business functionality and productivity.

LiquidHub (February 2008 – October 2012)

Director, Project Management Office

Responsible for technology services delivery within the Consulting and Outsourcing group. Developed project/program based business cases, project charters, developed project plans, and managed full life cycle projects (including web based custom application development and cloud based Salesforce.com implementations). Lead the development of the application portfolio health check methodology/service offering. Managed cloud/mobility modernization assessment workshops and cloud planning roadmap projects.

Cognizant Technology Solutions (September 2005 – January 2008)

Global Partner, Financial Services Group

Managed the largest business unit and outsourcing services delivery within the Company ($120M portfolio of global projects). Responsible for all Consulting Services activity for the IT Services and Outsourcing Group.

Over achieved Revenue (+ 150%), Margin, and Customer Success targets in 2006 & 2007.

Managed (4) large enterprise integration projects (SAP, TSYS Insourcing, Peoplesoft CRM, Pega BPM).

Designed and implemented the PMO and project health check dashboard for the enterprise. Implemented monthly project reviews to drive improved project performance and team communication.

Awarded top customer satisfaction and service performance award by our largest Customer for 2006 and 2007.

IGate Global Services (June 2000 – August 2005)

Managed the U.S. Services organization for the Global Outsourcing and Consulting Services Group. This line of business provided application outsourcing and CRM deployment services. Managed the $65M P&L for the U.S. operation.

FY 2001 thru 2004 achieved over 120% of existing and new account base goals.

Developed offshore application outsourcing business alliances with U.S. Consulting Service providers that committed $10M in revenue per year for 5 years (IBM & Oracle).

Expanded the partnership with Genesys that included product development and support participation. The new agreement yielded $5M in revenue per year.

Implemented the PMO and metrics dashboard that reported project performance and quality measurements.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (October 1994 – May 2000)

Managing Director, Technology Solutions Group

Managed the e-Business and CRM consulting practices within the Mid-Atlantic Region. Responsible for service delivery and client satisfaction for all CRM and custom solution projects.

Acquired (12) new clients and leveraged opportunities in 5 existing clients generating over $50M in revenue over 5 years. Over-achieved (150%) revenue and customer excellence targets all (5) years.

Developed and managed the design and implementation of CRM solutions for clients in the Manufacturing and Financial Services industries. The engagements generated over $15M in revenue. The solutions included the implementation of application packages and custom software development and integration.

Managed the largest web development project ($20M) within the line of service. The effort included leading the business planning and product development (Agile/SCRUM) process for the design of a new electronic service for a Commercial Banking Institution.

Managed e-Business projects focused on one-to-one interactive customer personalization and customer service opportunities in the Manufacturing and Technology industries.

Designed and delivered Information Technology Assessments for Clients in the Financial Services industry. The scope of effort included evaluating Architectures, Organization and Processes, Application Portfolios, and Business Object Models.

Lead the integration of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) into the PwC SDLC methodology.
