Over 15+ years of professional environmental experience focused mainly on the design, the construction, and the management of water and wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic structures, and site remediation. I hold a Masters’ Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences.

Offers wide-ranging experience in supervising the design, budget, schedule and commissioning for billion dollar projects, client management and procurement as well.

Adept at performing environmental and regulatory data analysis and data management which are used for project completion. Works on collaborative efforts with managers and other stakeholders in producing project reports, proposals and strategies which lead to timely delivery of desired results.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

January 2013 – Present

Hyundai Engineering Company, Seoul, South Korea

Technical Adviser

Evaluate and develop environmental projects which are performed by Divisions of Oil and Refinery, Power Plant, Infrastructure and Environmental Plant.

Establish the regional office in New York & New Jersey area for technical supports and new business development of USA, Canada and several countries in South American Continent.

Development of Advanced Nutrients Treatment using membrane.

-Developed advanced organics and nutrients removal processes combined with submerged hollow fiber membranes.

-Full-scale application to wastewater treatment plants and enhances the efficiency of processes by developing new membranes.

Power Supply Project using CSP and PV to a huge coal mining area in Copiapo, Chile. With Electricity capacity: 200 MW with CSP and 150 MW with PV.

-FEED evaluation including site remediation, basic design, and commissioning of water treatment plants for produced water (5 MGD) and industrial water supply (12 MGD) using MBR and UF membranes.

-Wastewater treatment with two 2 stages of BAF technology are added to an existing activated sludge treatment system.

Worked on Kandym Early Gas Project in Uzbekistan sponsored by Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company with Natural Gas Production capacity of 2.46 Billion m3/year and contract amount of 398 Million USD.

-Detailed design of site remediation and membrane-based water treatment plants (produced water & industrial water supply, 7 MGD) with, and following project management.

Two Combined Cycle Power Plants in Algeria sponsored by SPE in 2013 with Electricity capacity of 1,600 MW and contract amount of 685 Million USD for Biskra CCPP & 668 Million USD for Jijel CCPP.

-Detailed design of site remediation and industrial water supply plant (20 MGD) using RO membrane desalination.

-Applied primary treatment facilities via an innovative new advancement in BAF technology whereby Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) technology is integrated into the BIOSTYR system, which is very compact process combining fixed film biological treatment and filtration in a single unit operation with relatively high pollutant loads depending on the carbon and nitrogen requirements.

Worked as a lead manager of the Kangan Petro Refining Complex in southwestern Iran

-Site investigation including site remediation, the design of main factory facilities and its pipeline to supply and export with an annual production of around 1 million tons of ethylene, 500,000 tons of mono-ethylene glycol, and 350,000 tons of heavy and light polyethylene

-Organized the team to handle EPCF (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Finance) contract with the construction in 48 months

October 2007 – December 2012

Handled Gasoline Blending Tank and Gasoline Components Tankfield Remediation in Bayway in Refinery, NJ.

-Evaluated bid proposals of the contractor.

-Managed construction of the installation of bioremediation systems.

-Coordinated and implemented of remediation system with storm water management system.

Conducted the model simulation using MODFLOW for former MGP site to evaluate catch basins and the groundwater flow movement and decided the optimum remediation methods to proper groundwater management plan for minimizing water quality impact to groundwater in Elk Area, Newport Development in Jersey City, NJ.

Prepared remedial investigation Phase I and II of Former Lockheed Electronic Company Site in Watchung, NJ.

-Managed the construction of the selected remediation systems.

Developed, planned and managed environmental investigations, engineering studies and remediation projects of Former Dean Oil Service Station in Kenvil, NJ.

-Performed the model simulation using Bioscreen to analyze the contaminant release time at the site where revealed the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons impacts in ground water.

Performed development and oversight of hydraulic investigation scheme for water quality and sediment sampling, project budgets, schedules and reports of Former Michelin Tire Manufacturing Company Site in Milltown, NJ.

-Preparing/reviewing reports and work plan deliverables for submittal to regulatory agencies.
