Role : Lead a team of 4 for creating of a new UAT lane of ORACLE and informatica servers with new code rollout for regulatory and finance testing needs.

Was responsible for deploying new code and configuration and testing 15 SORs leading a team with one DBA and 2 INFORMATICA ETL developers. Reviewed and implemented multiple batch scheduling jobs using Control M.

Used Oracle SQL loader, table partitions, Control M batch, Unix shell scripting, PL/SQL, stored procedure, Materialized views, and optimized stored procedures.

Responsible for leading a technical team of ETL and batch developers to architect a CRM solution for Retail Funds business.

Lead a team of 4 developers for creating a new enterprise data warehouse and ODS (operational data store) for Global Investment Management’s Salesforce application.

Worked on data modelling using dimensional data models. The project involved - migrating data from the legacy system, standardizing the data loading process using transparency data feeds from various transfer agencies and summarizing the data to calculate YTD sales, monthly sales and yesterday’s sales numbers for sales reps. This data was made available for sync up with the Salesforce application cloud.

Create and implement data models (i.e., Star, Snowflake, etc.)

Create and implement data warehouses & data marts in Oracle and MS SQL server 2008.

Created Informatica Powercenter workflows, mappings, mapplets, source qualifiers, target definitions for VSAM, CSV, XML and various unstructured files.

Was responsible for building solutions to support the ever-changing business landscape of retail CRM and maintaining BAU. Under this larger program managing delivery of multiple projects to improve the quality of call management.

SalesPage CRM – SalesPage is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system designed specifically for Asset Management firms. It is designed to resolve the critical problems that the leaders in the mutual funds and annuities have identified. Client advisors are able to track notes and review sales information in the system.

Role and Responsibilities:

Architect file standardization and loading mechanism for more than 24 transparency file projects for the current year.

Was responsible for migrating a large legacy batch involving 150 ETL workflows from informatica 8.6 to 9.5. this involved working with technology team from within the bank to procure new servers, testing implementation, migration and bringing to BAU. This included coding and testing over 600 control m batch jobs using UNIX shells, perl modules and MS SQL server 2008 stored procedures and functions.

Reduced batch processing timelines from 4hrs to 3hrs (a 25% time reduction) by identifying long running stored procedures in MS SQL server and working with DBA teams to add indexes and have brain storming sessions with tech team members to suggest reduction batch dependencies.

Did code Analysis, estimation, designing and performance tuning for extraction transformation and load process.

Work with Business Analysts, Senior Data Architects, SMEs and Business partners to understand the Business requirements, Use cases. Translate the Business requirements into Technical Specifications and Data Models (Logical and Physical).
