Responsible for overall integrated strategies and programs in which efforts must result in driving traffic and generating revenue, while telling the story of the brand and increasing awareness in an ever growing competitive market.

• Plan, create and execute strategic programs, events and promotions utilizing cross-platform marketing channels with the goal to drive traffic and sales utilizing local and external partnerships. Major focus in current position is marketing to tourists, both international and domestic.

• 2017 Chinese New Year event resulted in a +100% increase in Chinese Tourism traffic to the center versus 2016 result.

• A new program created and implemented in 2016, Reward + Receipts, was targeted at driving footsteps and spend in 13 specific retailers in a 6 day period. Results included a report from one retailer of an +18% increase in sales year over year and accounted for $32,300 in sales during the event period. Program was included in “Best of the Best in 2016” for company wide marketing programs.

• Growth of new emails in our database was stagnant. Created an experiential event over Mother’s Day Weekend in which a lounge area was created for customers that receive emails from us could enter and enjoy, forcing sign ups to enter. The VIP Shopper Club Tent brought to life the Simon brand and experience and resulted in growth of membership. This was also included in the “Best of the Best” marketing programs for 2016.

• Strategize, partner and maintain great relationships with the following important tourism boards & organizations: Massachusetts Office of Tourism & Travel, Greater Boston Convention of Visitors Bureau, Greater Boston Concierge Association.

• Partner with regional management and creative services to ensure the strategies, placement and messaging of external advertising campaigns are most advantageous for investment made; placed mediums include digital, large format out of home, television, print and radio. Responsible for content, accuracy, proofing and on-time delivery.

• Manage, create content, and continue significant organic growth and digital traffic for all social and digital platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Simon.com, and the Simon App.

• Lead and manage the marketing department, which is a staff of up to 10 employees.

• Oversee a $2.2M budget, completing monthly and annual reporting to remain within budget.

• Generated over 35,000,000 positive impressions in 2016 by working closely with local public relations firm, through print, television, and blogger coverage and partnerships.

• Generated, managed and executed $496,000 in advertising revenue for center, which includes digital advertising and out of home mediums.
