Tender Loving Care Professional Adult Sitting Service, Inc., New Orleans, LA. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, I overseen and assisted CPA and Accountant with all company financials, prepared yearly budgets, completed all quarterly reports for IRS, recorded all chart of accounts for accounting and payroll purposes and for financials. When working closely with CPA and Accountant, I assured all 990’s and 941’s taxes were accurate and submitted in a timely manner. I oversaw all audits for Louisiana Workforce Commissioner, IRS and state. I administered this direct services program which functions within the Human Service fields of psychology, social work, and education. Taking advantage of extensive hands-on experience and relevant education, my primary focus is to oversee the program and direct the staff while meeting or exceeding Quality Assurance standards. Exceptional communication and problem solving skills, thorough knowledge of community resources, wrote service plans and it was reviewed for accuracy according to all consumers’ prior authorizations. I worked closely with nurses and consumers to insure recipient rights are respected and to enable me to carry out the day to day responsibilities more fully outlined below I also serviced as a board member (vice president) for a 2 year term and treasury on a 2 year term.
Supervise the program, direct staff, and implement and carry out Quality Assurance and other administrative duties.
Responsible for the Quality Assurance and self-evaluation of the agency files, to ensure quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of each participant.
Consult with agency staff.
Supervise all professional and support staff assigned to the program.
Supervision of direct care staff. Must supervise each employee on a “face to face” basis at least one hour per month. This supervision must be documented work independently in managing the program operations and receive general guidelines from the Board of Directors.
Plan, organize, monitor, and review activities of subsidiary staff.
Assist in developing, distributing, and interpreting policies.
Establish and enforce standards for an effective and efficient operation of the program.
Make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding policies to evaluate the changing needs of the program.
Monitor fiscal activities of the agency and approve any disbursements of funds.
Interview and evaluate the job performance of those immediately under supervisors.
Attend or designate a representative to attend all meetings and conferences.
Preparation of the annual operational budget along with monitoring all revenue and expenses. Perform all financials and balancing of funds and budgets
Ensure that services are delivered to consumers per agency policy and in compliance with state regulations, along auditing consumer’s files for proper file maintenance.
Interview and hire all professional and administrative staff.
Establish short and long term goals and set time frames for completion.
Ensure compliance to all Federal, State, and Local licensing entities as well as funding sources.
Research and review trainings for all employees and to ensure that each employee complies with state rules for yearly trainings.
Assist with grant writing and research, program development, license reviews, program expansions, and contractual obligations for existing programs as well as implementing new programs.
Review billing insurance for private insurance, and Medicaid insurance for accuracy.
Also review any denials for insurance claims as well as solving claims once RA is received.
Work collaboratively with all agency staff and other agencies.
Review records and plans for each consumer at minimum of every 6 months.
Active participation in a policy/procedure development, agency staff orientation, and annual training.
Obtain C.E.U every 3 years to continue my (C.E.S.P) certified employment support with Louisiana workforce commissioner. I also monitored, trained and assist individuals and employees with assignments (program director) EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
