I serve as an Academic Counselor for incoming students to Bethel University. I help them figure out what they want to major in. I also help them with their financial aid and with housing. I also go on recruiting trips to recruit other students to Bethel University. I maintain about 150 students currently and have over 800 prospects I speak to on a weekly basis through phone, text, and email to communicate effectively and coordinate what the student needs to next in the admission process regardless of what it might be. Many of my clients are children so I make sure they are taking their meds, doing their, homework, and making sure they are keeping up with the action plan in place. I also help my clients with their mental disorders of various sorts and help them to adjust to life with their illness, I am a support system for them and help in any capacity I can as their case manager. My job covers a variety of assignments such as: transporting patients in and out of the ER, doing orthopedic procedures like: putting on splints of various types and designs, putting on walking boots, delivering crutches, putting on arm slings, wrist splints, orthopedic shoes, clavicle straps, and shoulder immobilizers.
