Description: In NLC, the bucket wheel excavators are used to handle the soil from the mines. We found slip of the bucket wheel boom as a main failure. In order to, overcome this loss; we increase the motor capacity from 75kW to 90kW, so that the required power capacity is obtained. Due to the increase of power capacity of motor, the material handling equipment operates perfectly and efficiently.
