Emerson Partners Payroll and AP/AR Processor – November 2016 – February 2017

Processed payroll for field employees as well as using QuickBooks to process receivables and payables for vendors and clients.

•Processed timesheets for field employees, including calculating hours and allocating labor hours to the correct billing account.

•Perform hours audits to make sure allocated hours equal hours entered via timeclock punch.

•Receive and sort all invoices, bills, and receipts, then enter them into QuickBooks for payment.

Processed fast paced, high-volume payroll for field, sales, and office employees.

•Entered payroll for 300+ weekly employees in multiple U.S. states and biweekly in three Canadian provinces; predominantly numeric data entry. Each state/province had multiple field units for processing.

•Perform various payroll audits to ensure payroll is balanced and accurate.

•Process end to end payroll accurately, timely, and in accordance to Federal, State, and Local laws for salaried and hourly employees.

•Reviewed commissions and timesheets weekly for sales and field personnel, as well as audited hours manually entered by field office staff.

•Process, review, and balance payroll batch information which includes time clock entries, bonus entries, and other compensation variable pay entries.

•Research and resolve payroll requests and inquiries.

•Review and audit all data entries/changes on employee records for accuracy including, but not limited to, new hires, terminations, and pay changes.

•Communicate with various personnel through written and verbal methods to facilitate strong working relationships.

•Post payroll to accounting for each cycle.

•Plan and organize workload around multiple assignments to manage deadlines and deliver achievement of assigned goals and objectives.

•Serve as backup for other payroll administrators.

•Point of contact for Customer Service associates, clients, and other associates within the company such as Account Managers or verifiers in other locations.
