February 2009-Present, Aera Energy LLC, Investment Recovery Team Health and Safety Specialist.

Performs safety training with all contractor workforce performing facility and pipeline demolitions and oil well abandonments. Completed the Root Cause Factor Analysis Team Leader certification with TapRooT®. Also trained in inspection of cranes and rigging, trenching and excavation, asbestos and lead handling, scaffolding, energy control, and confined space work. Received the “Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional” and “Construction Health and Safety Technician” designations by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

October 2007-Present – Aircraft Division Chief/Quality Assurance Supervisor/Maintenance Control Senior Chief, C-130T Aircraft Division Chief, QA Chief, Squadron Detachment Chief, United States Navy Selected Reserves. Fleet Support Logistics Control Squadron Five Five.

•As Aircraft Division Chief, supervised 27 aircraft technicians in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions for five C-130T aircraft.

•Reviews and approves orders request and military drill schedules. Creates evaluations, fitness reports and awards recommendation.

•Maintenance qualifications trainer and authorized qualifier for Airframe, Hydraulic, Flight control, Landing Gear, Powerplant, Propeller, Fuel and Environmental Systems.

•As Quality Assurance Supervisor, led 10 Quality Assurance Representative in conducting safe for flight inspections and periodic audits on 47 maintenance programs and 8 work centers. Also qualified as Full Systems Quality Assurance representative.

•Performs warfare training on a monthly basis for drilling reservists. Ensures that deployment ready Sailors are always available to support the short notice logistics missions of the squadron.

•Leads maintenance personnel during missions to the Middle East, European and Pacific theaters as a squadron Detachment Senior Chief. Hand selected to lead a multi-service and multi-level repair team of 9 U.S. Air Force and 7 U.S. Navy technicians in the successful repair and recovery of a squadron aircraft that sustained significant structural damage during a mishap. Single-handedly established procedures regarding the procurement of required materials and equipment from around the globe, significantly expediting the completion of repairs and returning a critical squadron asset back to full mission capable status.

•As Maintenance Control Senior Chief, trains and supervises 7 maintenance control personnel in the safe for flight release of five C-130T and KC-130T aircraft. Plans the daily maintenance activities for 8 work centers and sets maintenance priorities to meet mission requirements.

November 2007-January 2009, Aera Energy LLC Gas Plant Processing Technician

Operated and maintained government regulated gas-processing and compressor booster facilities using PLC systems. Also performed troubleshooting of the complex gas gathering and distribution systems for two oil and gas production fields.

Qualified as pipeline surveillance operator and responded to over 100 call outs by Underground Service Alert for ensuring the integrity of the company’s 43 mile gas pipeline.

Quickly became the only person in the entire department to qualify for every operating position in record time.

Recommended by the site Manager of Operations to take the demanding duties of the Gas Team Process Specialist even with less than 12 months of employment with the company. Took on the bigger challenge as Health and Safety Specialist for abandonment and demolition team (Investment Recovery).

September 2004 – September 2007, E-2C Hawkeye Quality Assurance Representative and Work Center Lead, United States Navy, Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One One Two

Simultaneously managed multiple work centers during high tempo operations and two extended deployments to the central command area of operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Trained and supervised 14 technicians in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 4 E-2C Hawkeye aircraft.

Subject matter expert on airframe, hydraulic, pneumatic and flight control systems. Coordinated with other work centers in troubleshooting of complex discrepancies.

Managed and maintained the hydraulic contamination control, tire and wheel maintenance safety, corrosion control and emergency reclamations programs. Also assigned as the command’s financial specialist.

Performed duties as Quality Assurance Inspector responsible for signing off safe for flight items and auditing safety compliance and aircraft / work center inspections.

Utilized Operational Risk Management in making decision that impacts mission and personnel safety.• Trained junior technicians, inspectors and launch crews during 7 carrier qualification detachments and 8 training missions to El Centro Naval Air Facility.

July 1997 - Sep 2001, USS Peleliu LHA-5 Intermediate Maintenance Level Aeronautical Welder and Airframes Structure Technician

Repaired structural components from AV-8B Harriers, CH-53 Stallions, UH-1 Iroquois, AH-1 Cobra, and CH-46 Sea Knight aircraft. Routinely fabricated parts no longer available in the supply system.

Conducted inspections and preventive maintenance on 28 welding, composite repair, and structural component repair equipment.

Recognized as the department’s welding subject matter expert and completed 98 non-aviation projects including the renovation of multiple living spaces aboard the ship, increasing the quality of life for hundreds of the ship’s crewmembers.
