WORK EXPERIENCE:

Student Engineer Jan 2016-May 2017

Industrial Assessment Center (IAC), Department of Energy, IUPUI, USA

To study and analyze the Thermal, Electrical and Industrial Processes in various manufacturing companies.

Detailed analysis of the ongoing processes and finding faults in them if any and solving problems through brainstorming sessions.

Conducting energy audit on Compressed air, HVAC systems, Electric Motors, etc. and recommending corrective actions through a detailed report for optimum energy usage and cost savings by increasing efficiency of processes.

Other duties include utility analysis of the facility through the previous energy bills and production pattern. PROJECTS:

Machine Design Projects: July 2013

Designing of automotive/mechanical components like Friction Clutch, Gear Box, V-belt Drive and Screw Jack.

Various design considerations and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing used to create detailed drawings.

Carrying out detailed Design Verification and Validation of these components using 3-D modeling software of Creo 2.0, Catia V5 and simulation software of Ansys Workbench for safe design. Design of Welding Fixtures: July 2014

Designing and manufacturing of welding fixtures for the rooftop of a metro using Solidworks for 3D modeling.

Design calculations, stress and deformation analysis for the cross-section of the critical component using Ansys.

Supervised and worked with manufacturing of the fixture using VMC, welding machine, etc.

Had to write a DVP&R of the work done and the results obtained. CAD Design and Analysis of a Knee Implant: Dec 2015

Designing and analyzing optimized design for the knee implant for which failure occurrence no there.

Modeling of knee implant in Creo 2.0 for different sagittal radii and calculating stress for sagittal radii and angle of flexion using Ansys Workbench.

Plotted graph of stress vs sagittal radius and stress vs flexion angle and got the optimum design condition for which the knee implant should be designed.

PLM/PDM integrated with Internet of Things and Sustainability: Oct 2016-May 2017

Integration of product life cycle development/management with internet of things by developing applications on Thingworx platform which will connect the software with the physical objects through the cloud storage which can have access to unlimited data.

Developing applications to monitor the performance of manufacturing processes or products in real time as well as take corrective actions in real time if necessary.
