UNITED STATES GYPSUM CO. (USG), Various Locations 2002-2016

Technical Manager – Galena Park, TX Plant 2012-2016

Manager for a multi-industry facility comprised of three operating departments; paper mill, wall board; gypsum processing operation; and a ready mix joint compound operation. Maintained plant facilities including lawn care, paving, and asphalt repair/installation, drainage, roofing, and painting. Served as the Interim Plant Manager during vacations and holidays.

Managed the E&I department consisting of two supervisors and ten technicians.

Led a maintenance reliability program with three direct reports (general foreman, reliability technician, and field technician).

Worked with plant management to monitor delay, maintenance costs, bad actors, maintenance hours and training.

Ensured timely execution of condition based and preventative maintenance.

Coached and developed new project engineers for upwardly mobile roles in the organization.

Managed plant store room with 4 personnel and an inventory of $4MM.
