OBJECTIVE
To establish a career in engineering where I can demonstrate the learning outcomes of the Computer Engineering program of the Technological Institute of the Philippines, a program accredited by the US-based outcomes-oriented ABET(Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), Engineering Accreditation Commission. DESIGN PROJECTS COMPLETED/ RESEARCH UNDERTAKEN
Portable Paper-Based Energy Harvesting Device
The design is about energy harvesting utilizing Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials. Triboelectric effect is a type of static electrification mechanism that the designers used to charge as storage component. Frictional reaction can be obtained by rubbing, sliding and tapping the paper-like material that connects two conductive components that triboelectric reaction occurs. An Android application was developed in order to monitor the amount of voltage generated by the device.
