EXPERIENCE

02/16-10/16-Benefits and Eligibility Specialist-D epartment of Family Services, Gillette, Wyoming. My duties included but were not limited to the following: Interviewing clients on a daily basis to determine whether they were eligible for state benefits, such as SNAP (food stamps) or other programs that were offered by the state. Each client's’ information had to be verified by phone contact or written verification (rental, employment, bank, etc.) This process could take two weeks or longer depending how quickly information was received. Wages were calculated either by week, bi-weekly, twice a month or once a month and wages were used to offset monthly rent and other monthly expense. My normal workday consisted of interviewing five -six clients and gathering all of their information to prepare their case for processing. Due to the downturn of the economy in Gillette, I was very busy as were all of the benefit workers.I always tried my best to help people find other options if they did not qualify for SNAP or if they did qualify, help them find some means of support until their case was processed and money was on their food stamp card.

I also provided backup support for clerical if the front desk was busy or someone that worked in clerical was out of the office.

3/2015-01/2016-Dispatcher, K2 Technologies, Gillette, Wyoming. My duties include but are not limited to the following: Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of service requests. Respond promptly and professionally at all times to prospects, clients and fellow team members. Coordinate all IT support groups to ensure maximum utilization of billable resources. Review all requests for service coming in from customers via web form, ticket portal, email or telephone; understand and fully documents customers’ needs, set proper expectations with customer and manages tickets to completion. Schedule internal and field technical resources on the ConnectWise dispatch portal. Monitor resource schedules to ensure prompt time entry on service requests and review all tickets for timeliness, thoroughness and accuracy. Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages. Schedules engineers to ensure efficient use of their time, proper prioritization and to exceed customers’ expectations. Effectively communicate with clients, both external and internal, to allow successful resolution of all reported issues. Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within agreed service levels.

10/2012-3 /2015-Legal Assistant, Daly & Sorenson, Gillette, Wyoming. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following: Opening and closing files, file maintenance, initial client contact and continuing client contact, preparing for trial, preparing case exhibits and other evidence for trial, drafting legal documents for attorney review, legal research, organize attorney calendars, prepare correspondence and attend hearing/trial with attorney. 9/2000-3/2010: Office Manager/Legal Assistant, Worrall & Greear, P.C. W orland, Wyoming. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to the day-to-day management of the office, including three staff members and four attorneys. I also was responsible for the monthly client billing and the financial aspect of the practice. My legal assisting duties included interviewing existing and new clients, drafting legal documents, working with other attorneys and judges throughout Wyoming and making sure that all documents were prepared and filed with the court system, in a timely manner. I also assisted the attorney with trial preparation. Practice emphasis focused primarily on family law, criminal law, real estates transactions, estate planning and probate.

04/1999-8/2000: Administrative Specialist 11, State of Oregon-Judicial Department, Clackamas County Courthouse, Oregon City, Oregon Office of indigent Defense. T his portion of the Judicial Departments' major role was interviewing inmates at the Clackamas County Jail and assigning attorneys to represent them, if they financially qualified for same. Many of the people that I dealt with were in desperate need of someone who would and could help them explain the process while waiting to be assigned an attorney.

1984-1996: Office Manager, Pronghorn Family Dentistry-Gillette, Wyoming 82716. Responsibilities included management of office and support staff, interviewing, hiring and disciplining employees, training of all personnel, ordering of all office supplies, conducting computer training on dental software, producing quarterly reports and bi-monthly payroll, making daily deposits and balancing books, maintaining insurance, and producing monthly patient billing.
