Profile Summary:

I am an M.Engineering graduate of Covenant University, Nigeria and over the past six years, I have acquired several skills that have transformed my approach to engineering/business issues and has made me more efficient/effective in analyzing situations.

I have experiences in Cisco Network Access Control (NAC) Solution, WAN Optimization, Citrix, fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology, Microsoft Exchange & AD, Juniper, web designs, Information Technology, Backup, Disaster recovery, BCP & People Management. My experiences have helped to hone my creativity, build people skills, and develop myself in areas of leadership, information technology, management & business.

In the past as a network consultant for a leading Cisco partner in Italy (Alascom Services), I have been priviledged in handling huge projects both in Dubai & Nigeria. Also, as the team lead of Network Unit & Infrastructure Management Group at Sigma Pensions, Nigeria I have had the opportunity of integrating and setting up all branch offices in 7 zones of the country (36 States). I have huge understanding of TCP/IP architecture, microsoft exchange, Storage works, design (HLD & LLD), switching & routing, WAN & LAN, disaster recovery, voice, security. I have worked on variety of Network devices from various vendors ranging Cisco, Riverbed, HP, Meru networks, D-link, ubiquiti networks etc. I have also worked on various network management softwares from WhatsUp Gold, solaris, prtg, cacti and nagios. Also I have advanced knowledge with web filtering softwares e.g. untangle software which was deployed on the Sigma Network.

I am a strong researcher in the area of Networking and thus I have 6 papers in this area of technology including 2 book chapters. They cover DDOS attacks, Network optimization, RFIDs, IP Addressing (IPv6) and VoLTE. I believe research is always an eye opener in learning new ways of handling life problems or challenges. This was the sole reason for furthering my educational qualification and I hope someday to become a Professor in my chosen field (Engineering). In my short career span, I have attended a few training sessions covering Networking (India, 2010), server virtualization (Nigeria, 2013), Business Continuity Process/ Disaster Recovery (South Africa, 2014) and HP 3PAR StoreServ I & II (South Africa, 2015). Each of these trainings have broadened my Network Engineering scope within the industry.

The drive to become a better resource manager has lead me to enroll for the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) examinations. This I see as a stepping stone into the world of finance, investment and someday driving an organization to Glory.
