Responsibilities

Set up plastic injection molds and auxiliary equipment for processing. Verify correct set up of molds, auxiliary equipment and processes before machine start up. Make minor repairs to machines and equipment and notify proper personnel of major repairs. Assist supervisors with training programs for new employees. Responsible and accountable for: achieving adequate set up production levels, maintain expected set up times and keeping areas clean. Maintain records and observe all safety and environmental regulations. Work with limited supervision and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation.

I had started as a product processor and was asked to fill a position as a Set-up Technician and maintained that position. I have excelled in valuable raises while time spent there.

I completed an externship at this site. During this time, I completed successful blood draws. I also assisted with special specimen collections that entail drug screen and other special requirements. I received my provisional licensure in massage therapy up on my schooling for my AAS degree. Although I had received very detailed knowledge in Human anatomy, massage therapy is not where I wanted to continue my education. I want further my skills and knowledge in medical science.

Phlebotomy Certificate

I received my Phlebotomy certificate by attending St Louis School of Phlebotomy and currently continuing my studies for my Phlebotomy certification through the NHA. My Phlebotomy program was six weeks of training with one week of externship.

I have accomplished a OSHA-10 certification for occupational safety and health for workers.

BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) First Aid

I received my BLS/CPR AED and First aid certification through ACLS Saint Louis, who are AHA certified.

I am acquiring a position with in the medical field. I come with great knowledge from my studies from achieving my Associates Degree in Applied Science and my Certified Phlebotomy Technician Degree. I am looking forward to establishing myself as a leader with in my field of study. I do take on the challenges that the medical field brings my way as I am always interested in learning new technics and different aspects of the field.
