Joint Venture with TEMPUR-SEALY Mattress Company. Successfully joined two companies with a giant mega distribution center for all returns and inspection processing. Monitored logistics to and from local and regional drop off facilities. Process piping and Structural Steel fabrication shop. Project/Operations Manager primarily dealing with Oil Rig Platform both land and sea. Duties included processing blue prints for bid proposal along with all procurement for the jobs. Inventory control of receipt of materials included records for API/ISO certifications and ABS. Oil, Gas and Agriculture company appx 400 employees. I started as a machinist, with a background in manual and CNC machining capabilities. Promoted to Assembly Supervisor to define problems and implement root cause analysis, 5S- Lean Manufacturing practices along with Kaizen events to drive results to our internal/external customers. Successful record which got me promoted to Operations Supervisor of 400 machines and up to 100+ employees at any given time. Oversee orders from raw stock to shipment to customer. Out of the Army worked in a cabinet shop started from the bottom up. Company quickly realized my ability to lead and drive to a more cost efficient direction with greater production in return. Became office manager and ran all day to day operations. Scheduling from point of sale to final install and punch out list. Made process developments to expedite the process from CNC router to the build center. Created database of programs to increase the efficiency of changeover for custom builds. Worked front office doing bids for custom build for customers.
