August 2002 – November 2005: Responsible for the overall site management and implementation of a comprehensive safety and health program during the construction and commissioning of a $120 million environmental upgrade project at the largest coal-fired generating station in Colorado. Responsibilities include: managing contract safety personnel and industrial hygiene consultants, the development and implementation of site-specific safety & health procedures, ensuring that appropriate training was provided for all Tri-State, subcontractor and client employees, performing industrial hygiene sampling and monitoring, and administering our medical surveillance program. Other responsibilities include interface with the corporate Tri-State project office, plant managers and regulatory authorities on issues involved in implementing the safety and health program.
