Worked with DCS-ABB. Oversaw on-the-job training of local personnel.

SAIPEM, Sabratha Platform, Libya 2004 to 2005

Technical Backup, Commissioning

Oversaw commissioning activities for this platform consisting of production wellhead system (gas), gas/condensate scrubbers, gas dehydration (TEG) and TEG regeneration skids, pig launchers/receivers, production and test manifolds, and chemical injection (methanol, MEG, antifoam, corrosion inhibitor for gas & condensate, antibiofouling); utilities included dual fuel GT (Siemens turbine, Alstom generator), EDG, Ingersoll-Rand IA compressors and air dryer package, inert gas skid, and fresh water maker. Worked with DCS-ABB.

Process Supervisor

Oversaw pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities for Wellhead Platform (oil) after drilling had been completed; platform consisted of production wellhead system, chemical injection, manifold and multiphase meter, test separator, and EDG. Worked with Siemens DCS. Oversaw on-the-job training of local technicians.

GTMH Belma Gas Compression Plant, Nigeria 2003

Plant Supervisor

Oversaw platform operations and on-the-job training for local personnel, specializing in process and control of this gas compression plant; AG platform consisted of LP/HP scrubbers, LP booster compressor (Ariel compressor and Waukesha gas engine), gas injection compressor (Demag-Delaval centrifugal compressor driven by Solar Mars T-100 gas turbine), TEG dehydration, fuel gas, IA, power generation system (gas engine-driven generators and EDG), and UPS. Worked with DCS system that included ESD/OSD and fire and gas (Foxboro & Yokogawa).
