Serve as integral part of executive leadership team for U.S. based operations to oversee the Human Resources, admin and finance departments at Solugenix. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing a team of HR and Admin professionals to manage employee relations, implementing and overseeing the processes for on-boarding and off-boarding, compliance, general administration, benefit administration, policies and processes, visas and permanent residency, payroll, performance management and training and development.

Advise senior executive leadership on all HR and employee relations issues. Train and coach managers on key HR matters like hiring and firing, succession planning, Performance Management and mandatory trainings for Team Leads. Monitor and ensure program compliance, effectiveness, and cost controls.

Train and mentor team members to ensure productivity, performance and how to maintain the SLA’s at all times, identifying issues and resolving them, identifying areas of improvement and traiSening needs for the team to help them be successful in their role.

Key Results:

Played a key role in ensuring the successful transition of all the employees from the parent company due to spin off. Structured and implemented programs and policies in the areas of training, compensation structures, benefits packages, incentives and new-employee orientation.

Reduced benefits costs by 10-15% annually by reworking the plan, bringing in competition between brokers and not compromising on the existing benefits

Developing recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates utilizing various recruiting tools. Key Results:

Developed the process for hiring vendor resources, added new vendors to bring in competition and monitored compliance issues. In 9 months, hired 110 vendor resources and thus helped sales to meet their targets in the shortest possible time

Responsibilities included building up the Employee Relations Team and ensuring the accountability and efficiency of the Employee Relations executive team, time bound completion of problem resolution, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Handled US HR functions from offshore.

Key Results:

Intelligroup Inc started a pilot project of introducing an employee relations team from offshore to help coordinate employee issues and manage retention. As a head of this team brought the issues down considerably and also implemented policies and processes in collaboration with US team to manage HR activities from offshore.

Devised creative and cost-effective incentive and morale-boosting programs that increased employee satisfaction and productivity.

Head Customer Care JT Mobiles Ltd, Hyderabad, India Aug 1996 – Feb 1998,

Responsibilities included customer care, dealer support, sales, accounts and general administration. This was a startup company as cell phones were being introduced to India. Was instrumental in putting the processes and team together to set up the department and run it successfully.
