To whom it may concern;

In early 2009 I was in a motorcycle accident that left me permanently disabled with severe nerve damage and the partial loss of the use of my left arm. Since then I have have had multiple surgeries and tried any and all physical therapies in an attempt to return to work. This past December I had a device implanted that sought minimize the severe nerve pain I have been experiencing since the accident. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and while I still have only partial use of my left arm the device was successful in alleviating the constant nerve pain I have been experiencing since the accident. During this time, I took classes for two years and maintained my technical knowledge by staying abreast of the latest technological advances and picking up contract work on a project basis. I understand that nine years is a significant amount of time to be out of the job market, but I am ready, willing and able to return to full time employment. As an accomplished information technology professional with extensive industry experience, I believe that I would be an asset to any organization willing to give me the opportunity to prove myself.
