MRP Retail Inc. is a company operating in the clothing and music retail sector. It is a privately held company with revenues, in its busiest years approaching $50 million, and in excess of 50 stores.
Managed financial risks of all the corporations within the group including cash and risk management
Responsible for financial planning and record keeping as well as financial reporting to ownership
Supervised the Finance unit consisting of 10 employees
Assisted in strategic and tactical matters as they related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting needs
Developed and maintained weekly cash flow models and budgets
Successfully designed, implemented and maintained high level financial systems and internal controls, and oversaw the continual measurement and evaluation on these controls
Constructed key financial and nonfinancial metrics for the company and its various departments
