Academic Projects
Nanoparticle Environmental Impact Summer 2015 : May 2017
Performed techniques such as chromatography, dynamic light scattering, and quartz crystal microgravimetry to asses the potential toxicity to the environment.
Analyzed data obtained from experiments in programs such as Microsoft Excel in order to generate studies and create presentations on silver and copper nanoparticles to share with the academic community.
Altered nanoparticles using methods such as UV irradiation, solvent cleaning, and chemical reactions in order to model conditions found in real world aquatic environments.
Wastewater Treatment Research Fall 2013 : Winter 2015
Conducted various tests on bench scale wastewater reactors treated with microorganisms and algae for less energy in aeration and methane generation.
Measured Chlorophyll, COD, TSS, TOC, TN, and VSS to evaluate the quality of water treatment using variety of instruments, techniques, and procedures.
Worked with lab technician to carry out precise scheduled bench reactor maintenance using turbidity sensor, scales, filtration systems, and pipettes.
