Provide human resource consulting, sourcing, employment and recruiting services in a contractor/consultant capacity.

Selected Accomplishments:

Managed consultants and independent contractors, developed new business, support client accounts, provided HR Services and contributed to the overall business operations of The Van Zant Resource Group.

Participated in a two-month project designed to establish a contractor business for The McLaughlin Group, of Atlanta, Georgia by the development of an internal contractor bench and the use of external providers.

Provided staffing services for Rockwell Collins Cedar Rapids Iowa Air Transport Systems Engineering. Group for a four month period followed by a five month assignment responsible for the employment operations of Rockwell Collins Melbourne, Florida’s Manufacturing and Engineering facility.

Direct the HR functions for a 130 employee IT organization comprised of programmers/developers, call center, networking, business analyst, system analyst and administrative support for four locations.

Established two retention programs, an employee bonus program and an every other Friday off program.

Recruited and hired 36 employees over a four month period.

Institution of an Employee Referral Program.

Played a lead role in the reorganization of the Programming/Development team and the Operational Support groups.
