To whom it may concern:
After graduating with a B.A. in psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson Univeristy in 2004, where I took my first medical psychology course, I decided to return to school to focus in Ultrasound. I attended the Institute Of Allied Professionals in 2006 and was hired directly from my clinical at Greenwich Hospital, where I am currently employed. I now am ARDMS registered in O.B. GYN and a certified through the NTQR to preform Nuchal Translucenecys.
Although I hold my certifications in O.B., Here at Greenwich Hospital, I perform many exams daily, from vascular studies to assisting doctors in procedures. It is a very dynamic department to work in; we see all types of patients from within the hospital to a follow up out patient.
I find the medical field very challenging and rewarding all at the same time. To strive in this field as a good sonographer I believe you have to have a balance of knowledge as well as compassion towards humans. I love the idea of learning something new every day as I hope to further develop into the best sonographer I can be at your medical facility. Please consider me as an applicant for a diagnostic sonographer.
I can be reached by cell or e-mail if you would like to schedule an interview or should have any questions. I can supply references per request.
Kindly,
Jessamyn Schwengerer
