Sr. Executive Vice President - Reported to President. Chief negotiator and advisor for Office of the Prime Minister(s), Republic of Kazakhstan. Developed and implemented strategy for government concerning the issuance of a 2 billion.
dollar loan through bond placement. Organized the financial structuring for numerous mineral concessions with western operational/management.
Implemented meeting between President Nazabayev of Kazakhstan and President Clinton in Washington in 1992 through O’Connor and Hannan, Washington, D.C. Served as government’s liaison with western multi-nationals resultant from President’s Washington visit. Work with the President of the Parliament, Kazakhstan for energy projects specifically related to the Djambyl, Karaganda and Auchtubinsk provinces.
Ventures International 1985-1993
Executive Vice President - Served as first US consultant/liaison for the Peoples Socialist Republic of Albania. Worked with President Alia and Prime Minister Nano in developing diplomatic relations with the US. Consulted major US oil company to help obtain first oil concession for US company in Albania. Served as consultant in meetings with US with members of the UNDP, Heritage Foundation, Soros Foundation. Board Member of Directors, AMBO, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria pipe line, trilateral agreement for taking Caspian Sea petroleum into European pipeline system, ending in Port Vlore, Albania.
Co-venture with Emma Chang, Beijing and China International Trade and Investment Company for hotel, multiplex theater and theme park development.
